> VEV GR is an EU-based electric vehicle technology company headquartered in Athens, Greece. It is a reboot of the Ukrainian-origin company VILKON ELECTRIC VEHICLES (VEV), which specialized in EV technology from 2018 until it was forced to cease operations due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022. VEV GR is the first tech company of Ukrainian origin to be re-established in Greece after the war.

## History & Timeline

- **March 2018** – Vilkon Group introduced electric vehicles to the Ukrainian market.
- **Spring 2021** – VEV began R&D on a 4-wheel mini electric car (VEV Lulida) in collaboration with Chinese partners.
- **November 22, 2021** – VEV Lulida, the first "Finished in Ukraine" mini electric car, was completed.
- **February 8, 2022** – VEV Lulida officially launched for pre-orders in Ukraine at ~$6,200 USD.
- **February 24, 2022** – Russia invaded Ukraine; Kharkiv was among the first cities attacked, forcing VEV to shut down all operations.
- **December 15, 2021** – Sister company ELEX CARGO LLC launched, using EVs produced by VEV.
- **October 21, 2022** – VEV re-established in Greece as VILKON ELECTRIC VEHICLES GREECE L.P.
- **January 20, 2023** – First product prototype of VEV GR completed: the Electric Bicycle "MD-1 EBIKE", built in Greece with Ukrainian-Greek intellect.

## Founder Background

Mr. Sheykkh Lubnan is the founder of:
- **High Fly Drones (HFD)** – founded in Kharkiv, Ukraine in 2011
- **VILKON ELECTRIC VEHICLES (VEV)** – founded in Kharkiv, Ukraine in 2018
- **ELEXCARGO** – founded in Ukraine in 2021

He became the first Ukrainian refugee to establish a tech startup in Greece following the 2022 invasion.
